v1.1 update & GMTK results

Hey jammers & players!
We're incredibly honored to have placed #9 in the overall category! This was the first game jam we ever attended as a team, and thus the first game we put out publicly. Given the positive reception, we're currently deciding how to move forward with re:scale.
A small update is available on the web and for download now, addressing some bugs and polishing the level design. You can read the full patch notes below:
Patch notes: v1.1 – 2024-08-30
- Added decals to all levels
- Added directional audio for turrets, buttons and doors
- Added the game version and icons to the settings window
- Normalized the volume of all sound effects
- Optimized moving platforms
- Fixed a rare softlock when entering the level goal and rescaling at the same time
- Fixed down arrow not working as crouch
- Fixed being able to rescale inside doors
- Fixed a memory leak when loading and saving settings
- Fixed windows not closing when finishing the game
- Fixed a freeze when quitting the game from the start menu on the web
- Fixes in the following levels:
- Level 5 – made it more clear that the vanishing blocks depend on the scale
- Level 9 – removed a blank section and a potential softlock by pushing the cube the wrong way
- Level 10 – fixed a non-functional lever, which made it possible to skip a puzzle
