re_scale

re:scale is a retro styled puzzle platformer with a unique scaling twist. You control MD, a little piece of malware, who is definitely up to no good.

To get to the end of a level, you have to use the mechanic of scaling the in-game window, which scales the world itself around MD. Help MD finish his goal of infecting the host’s entire PC with this malicious virus!

Controls:

• A/D to move
• W/SPACE to jump
• S to crouch (activate levers)
• Right mouse button drag to rescale the window resolution
  • You can also drag the corners of the window to rescale

Technical details:

• We recommend downloading the .exe instead of playing online, as particles don't work on the web
  • Playing in fullscreen is optimal, you can toggle fullscreen in settings
• You can close the window and open it again to reset the current level
• The start menu can be used to quit the game
• The trash bin on the desktop resets all progress!
